I made this process more complicated than it needed to be. I started by puting a mask on the layer and a white layer under the donald duck layer. Then I unsed the magnetic laso to trace out donald duck. When I should have used the laso to trace out the background. So after some trial and error I finally got it. Click on image in enlarge.
Nice cutout of Donald Duck. the edges may be a little fuzzy, but it is hard to tell, becasue for some reason I cannot make your images larger when I click on them. It may because you submitted your images when you were using Internet Explorer or Safari. You must use Firefox to make this work. Also, you need to add a paragraph about your process.
